Hardwood floor refinishing can turn lackluster flooring into a showpiece. Hardwood boards are very forgiving. By having your floor sanded, you can get rid of years of abuse in one simple procedure. Gone is the scratch from the time your husband tried to move the couch by himself. Gone is that worn mark where your desk chair rubs the floor. Gone is that stain where your five-year-old spilled grape juice on your light-colored flooring. All corrected at a fraction of the cost of a new floor.
How Refinishing Works
When you refinish your floor with Pat Pellegrini Flooring, we sand the surface three times, with three different grades of sand paper. We then stain the floor with the color you pick or a coat of sealer if you prefer to leave the floor its natural color. Next, we apply two coats of polyurethane to help guard the finish from stains and scratches. When we're finished, your floor will look like new. Most hardwood floors can be refinished several times before they need to be replaced.
Benefits of Hardwood Floor Refinishing
Refinishing your floor takes a fraction of the time and much less money than if you installed a brand new floor. Unlike cleaning carpet, hardwood floor refinishing wipes the slate clean and erases past wear marks and stains on your floor.
